Coordinated disconnecting and reconnecting of sinks, faucets, dishwashers and cooktops so your granite is installed without leaks or delays.
Replacing a countertop touches almost everything around it. The sink and faucet must come out, the dishwasher may need to slide out, a range or cooktop may need to be pulled, and everything has to go back in correctly after the stone is set. In Nashville homes, plumbing and appliances come in every age and arrangement, and a coordinated approach saves a lot of time and avoids leaks.
We plan the disconnect and reconnect as part of the schedule. Where a plumber or electrician is required by local rules or by the complexity of the job, we coordinate with them so they are on site at the right moment. We confirm shutoff valves work, supply lines are in good shape and the drain connection is ready. After the stone is installed, we help make sure everything is reconnected and tested, and we note anything that needs replacement.
We schedule removal, installation and reconnection so the sink and appliances are down for as short a time as possible.
Old shutoff valves and supply lines are checked and replaced when they are worn or stuck.
Plumbers and electricians handle work that requires them. We line up timing so nothing waits.
Connections are checked for leaks and operation after the stone is set.

You tell us about your counters and what you want to change, from a repair to a whole-kitchen install, and we set a visit that fits your day.
We visit, measure, check the cabinets, walls and plumbing and talk through stone, edges, seams and sinks.
We help you choose a slab at local stone yards, plan the layout and give you an itemized written estimate with options.
Once cabinets are set and level, we template the real room, confirm cutouts and seams and send the plan to fabrication.
The stone is cut and polished, old counters are removed and the new granite is carried in, set, seamed and sealed.
We walk the finished counters with you, explain care, run the water test and leave the space clean.
We coordinate with a plumber for connections where needed and handle simple disconnects ourselves.
Often it slides out so the counter can pass. We protect it and reinstall it.
Not necessarily. We confirm the faucet fits the new holes.
Usually the same day or the next, depending on adhesive curing.
We replace it with a plumber, since a stuck valve can leak when disturbed.
