Color-matched filling and polishing for chipped edges and corners, so small damage does not grow or catch fingers and cloths.
Chips happen. A dropped pot, a heavy pan against the edge or a careless bump can nick a granite corner or edge. Granite is hard, but its edges are where it is most vulnerable, especially around sinks and on sharp corners. A small chip is more than a cosmetic problem: it can catch a sponge, hurt a finger and, left alone, grow as moisture and use work at it. In Nashville homes, chip repair is a quick service that saves a lot of regret.
We clean the damaged area, fill it with a color-matched resin or the original chip when it can be saved, cure it and sand and polish it until it blends with the surrounding stone. The result is a smooth, solid edge that is hard to find. We are honest about what is possible: very large missing pieces or very dark and complex patterns are harder to match, and we tell you what to expect before we start.
If the chip is still there, keep it. It can often be glued back, which gives the best match.
Tinted resin is blended to match the stone and filled in thin layers.
Once cured, the repair is leveled and polished to the same finish as the surrounding stone.
We suggest edge profile and care changes where chips keep happening, such as rounding a sharp corner.

You tell us about your counters and what you want to change, from a repair to a whole-kitchen install, and we set a visit that fits your day.
We visit, measure, check the cabinets, walls and plumbing and talk through stone, edges, seams and sinks.
We help you choose a slab at local stone yards, plan the layout and give you an itemized written estimate with options.
Once cabinets are set and level, we template the real room, confirm cutouts and seams and send the plan to fabrication.
The stone is cut and polished, old counters are removed and the new granite is carried in, set, seamed and sealed.
We walk the finished counters with you, explain care, run the water test and leave the space clean.
A good repair is very hard to see, but a perfect match depends on the pattern and color.
Yes. It can often be glued back for the best match.
Yes, with normal care. A very hard impact can chip it again.

Small kits exist, but matching the color and polish is difficult. A professional repair usually looks better.
